Crystal, the owner and heart of Shabby Brown, started the business in her basement while working as a dental assistant. Never imagining how far it would grow, she eventually left the dental field to pursue her passion full time. Todays, she’s not only the driving force behind the business but also the first person you’ll meet at your initial appointment- guiding you through the entire process with care, creativity, and dedication.

Jessica Williams

On site Manager

Jessica is the calm cool and collected one of the team. Her attention to detail is one of her many best quality’s. She works extremely hard at making sure your home is fully protected, prepped, sanded, masked, and ready to be sprayed. At the end of the project she makes sure things are put back better then when we started. In Jessicas home life she has two of the sweetest pups and loves anything plants (indoor or outdoor).

Tami Hartman

Tami joined the team several years ago after SBR did her own kitchen. She was looking to follow her passion/hobby of painting and refinishing furniture. She is the main sander onsite during the prep, and found one of her talents hardware installation. Not only is Tami the team mom bringing a snack bag onsite every day for everyone but she has also raised two amazing kid.

Chloe Coons

Chloe joined the Shabby Brown team in the spring of 2025, eager to learn and grow. Since then, she has been diving into all aspects of the process, gaining hands-on experience and expanding her skills. Theres nothing that she not good at. In her free time, Chloe enjoys spending time with her pets, family and is a devoted fan of Elvis Presley. You call always count on her to have a coffee in hand and for a good laugh.

Michaela Arcate

.Michaela became part of the Shabby Brown team in the spring of 2025, bringing with her a strong drive to learn and try new things. She quickly embraced her new journey, and you’ll often find her on job sites prepping or in the shop expertly spraying doors. Her keen attention to detail and positive attitude make her a valuable team player. Outside of work, Michaela enjoys attending country concerts and spending quality time with her family.

Cheryl Comins

Cheryl is a recent addition to the SBR team joining us two days a week. You will catch her onsite on prepping with the team and the other day in shop getting the doors ready. She retired from teaching and spends time at her camp all seasons (specially snowmobile time).

Sam

Sam, our beloved shop supervisor (and four-legged team member), makes sure everything runs smoothly at Shabby Brown. Always keeping spirits high, there’s nothing better then wrapping up a long day with his tail wags and approval-sealed with kisses.
